The Real Secret to Business Success

Anthea Moffat - Thursday, July 29, 2010

Which is the better description of you?An opportunity seeker or a  strategic thinker?

Are you unsure of what marketing tactics work the best for you? Do you have a thirst for new knowledge BUT struggle with implementing the myriad of marketing tactics available? Are you sometimes disappointed with your marketing results? Do you find that the implementation of the greatest marketing ideas is often much harder than you thought?

If you're really busy doing "stuff" but not achieving the results you want, it could be that you are chasing opportunities rather than being strategic. And that's really frustrating...I know, I've been there and done that and it didn't work for my business.

Here are the questions I had to answer to get my business into strategic mode because that's the real key to business success. These questions may be helpful for you too.
  1. What are the current problems, frustrations, opportunities, goals and
    voids of my clients?
  2. How can I help my clients with those issues?
  3. What are the goals of my business, how is my business making the
    world a better place?
  4. How can I provide massive value to my clients?
  5. Which communication channels are right for my clients?
  6. How can I create a community where we nurture the needs of our
clients and make them feel valued?
Answering those questions helped me enormously so I strongly urge you to take some time out to do the same. You may also want to check out our upcoming 3-hour workshop "Exposed: The Insider Secrets to Client Attraction and Retention" where I will be sharing how to use this information to become a strategic marketer not an opportunity seeker.
